Wild weather is causing beach erosion. The east coast of NSW Australia has had a weather event in the last few days effecting most beaches. This changes the conditions when you attempt to Catch Beach Worms. A new part of my course “Catch Beach Worms for Bait” deals with the things you must think about when you go beach worming after a major coastal weather event.
As a large LOW in the east coast’s weather pattern moves away it can be seen on the NSW coastal beaches just how dynamic the coastal landscape can be. Last week you may have been on a perfect beach. This week the clean up starts and one wonders … where has all the sand (and beach worms) gone?
Previously a beach might have had the perfect slope on it for beach worming. After strong winds and huge seas and big waves the profile of the beach will be different. Wild weather is causing beach erosion. Sand levels will be down and beach sand angles will be steeper. View the course – Catch Beach Worms for Bait
When beach conditions change due to radical weather the beach worms become more timid. Caution is required not to disturb them until the right time.
